  • Update to Our Tree Planting Model

Tree Tribe started in 2015 as a way to give back to the Earth and raise awareness on sustainability in the product industry (fashion, apparel, accessories). As the founder, I wanted to start a company that had a purpose to help our planet, while making a positive impact on the world. I was inspired by the "1 for 1 model" and said "Ya know what 1 for 1 is cool but I want to do 10 for 1!". That started our model of planting 10 trees on every sale.

  • Plastic: Today's Convenience, Tomorrow's Pollution

How can you buy the sparkle of water? In THE POWER OF MYTH by Joseph Campbell with Bill Moyers (1988), Campbell states that “Chief Seattle was one of the last spokesmen of the Paleolithic moral order. In about 1852, the United States Government inquired about buying the tribal lands for the arriving people of the United States.” “The President in Washington sends word he wishes to buy our land. But how can you buy or sell the sky? The land? The idea is strange to us. If we do not own the freshness of the air and the sparkle of the water, how can you buy them?” - Chief Seattle
