August 30, 2019💥 Got some new all over print clothing live on the site: Tree Tribe Summer Shorts.
They're made from the same comfy upcycled fabric as our Leggings.
These aren't really for me personally 😃 but I do wear our leggings (great for mountain climbing, or leg day, or under some jeans when it's really cold)... so Kristine our Instagram manager tried em out, took a hike and gave some feedback.
Here's what she said:
I think the patterns are matched up perfectly and they fit great, precisely as expected.
I've tried them out running and at the gym and they're great. They don't move around a ton and are that same wonderful soft and stretchy like the leggings.

Upcycling is using old materials to make something new. Like recycling, but giving the material a new life and a new identity.
I just had a conversation today about how only about 25% of plastic bottles get recycled... the rest stay on Earth ☹️
This is one reason I like upcycled materials for synthetic clothing / active wear. You get the same performance benefits and long lasting quality, but using upcycled materials gives the recycling industry more action.
We want to support more recycling because a higher demand for recycled / upcycled materials leads to more recycling.
If you're unsure how upcycled polyester feels, guess what it feels exactly the same as virgin polyester 👍
