April 22, 2021 Happy Earth Day!
As you can probably guess, we take the Earth pretty seriously over here at Tree Tribe. While Mother Earth stays at the front of our mind just about every day, we love a good celebration! We've been celebrating what is now dubbed 'Earth Month' with some wicked deals on our best selling eco-products (see here for this week's deal!), but we're rocking out to the actual Earth Day today with something big - today we're planting 1,000 trees! 🌲 *cue home office dance*

Trees for the Future just hit a big milestone of 200 million trees planted - wow, right?! Read our in-depth blog about their mission and this milestone here. They focus on thoughtful agroforestry systems and their work has resulted in 200 million trees, more than 30,000 acres restored, and more than 200,000 lives changed in areas where poverty and hunger are prevalent.
Eden Reforestation Projects is another partner of ours that is making an outstanding difference for the world. Since their inception, more than 500 million trees have been planted in 8 countries, throughout 232 project sites! They link reforestation to tackling extreme poverty and impact their communities with a holistic approach and employing locals in their tree-planting projects.
These guys are pretty incredible, huh? We are only able to help these partners fulfill their missions because of you, our Tribe. 🌍
You know how we're celebrating as an organization, but how are you, personally, celebrating today? Here's some nifty ideas from our team:
- Reduce your carbon footprint and vow to only ride your bike or walk today
- Plant something in your backyard or local lot
- Buy a reusable grocery bag and prepare to ditch the plastic ones for good
- Research ways to make your home more eco-friendly
- Spend the afternoon basking under the warm sun, put some thankful vibes out there to Mother Earth!
Catch you next time! ✌️
