This is a guest post by Sam Kenworthy, the Permaculture Manager at CIRENAS
CIRENAS (Centro de Investigaciones de Recursos Naturales y Sociales) and Tree Tribe started a unique collaboration roughly six months ago when I got in touch with Joe Lannen, founder of Tree Tribe, simply because of their business model that included planting trees based on sales.
Happy Earth Day everyone! Join us in celebration by simply going for a hike or chillin with friends outside in nature :)
We love Earth Day everyday - our whole mission revolves around making a positive impact on the Earth by promoting and using eco friendly materials, and planting trees every single day through our customer sales.
WHOOOA! We're at 75,000+ TREES PLANTED!!! And we're stoked to round the corner to 100,000 trees planted, a major milestone in our history as a small company trying to make a positive impact in the world!
Tree Tribe launched in the summer of 2015, and from day 1 it has been our commitment to create with eco friendly materials and plant trees. Our goal is to plant millions of trees all over the Earth!
Woohoo just passed 🌲 50,000 TREES 🌲 planted!!!
Check out our tree planting map to see where we plant our trees - treetribe.com/pages/trees.
We're now working with American Forests to plant more trees in the USA! They’ve completed reforestation projects in all 50 U.S. states and nearly 50 countries... Epic!
Did you know that over half of U.S. drinking water originates in forests?
Our second tree planting partner is Eden Projects. They have planted over 125,000,000 trees in 4 countries so far!
We've been with them a few months now, it started with wanting to add a new partner and plant extra trees for Earth Day!.
We plant a tree on every sale, but what does this mean? Well, we're not just randomely chucking a handful of seeds and hoping for the best... we work with organizations that strategically plant trees for sustainability.
When you make a Tree Tribe purchase, you help feed people in need, improve quality of life for your fellow humans (and animals), and of course you help the entire planet by contributing more trees and plant life. One Love.
